Demineralized water, also known as deionized water, is often used by tattoo artists.
Demineralized water is water free of all minerals. It does not contain sodium, chlorine, calcium, or magnesium.

In tattoo studios, it is most often used for cleaning and rinsing needles and for diluting concentrates, such as green Tattoo Eazer soap.

The surface cleaned with this cleaner is free from streaks and dry spots. Furthermore, it retains its characteristic shine for a long time.
